Bought this on a whim and it's now the most-reached-for item in my closet.
The moisture-wicking fabric is not a gimmick. I commute 45 minutes on a subway with no AC and arrived at my desk looking completely put together. The pleats at the waist are structured enough to read as professional but the overall feel is light and breezy, not stiff. Absolute winner for summer office dressing.
The dress is beautiful and the white color is stunning in person. My issue is that even with the moisture-wicking claim, I found it clung a little on very humid days, which for a sleeveless style surprised me. It works great in an air-conditioned office but outdoor events in peak summer heat were a different story.
I wore this to an outdoor client lunch in 88-degree heat and stayed comfortable the entire time. The polyester and spandex blend breathes way better than I expected from a structured dress. Plus the high waist cut is incredibly flattering, it cinches in all the right places without any shapewear underneath.
The dress runs just a touch small through the bust, so I'd recommend sizing up if you're between sizes. Once I exchanged my small for a medium, the fit was immaculate. The pleated skirt has a nice swing to it when you walk, which feels a little fun for a work dress in the best possible way.
