Pink mini dress, warm evening, rooftop bar. I was the most dressed person there in the best possible way.
The flounce hem on this dress is adorable and adds so much movement when you walk. On breezy days it does float up more than expected so I keep a pair of bike shorts on hand underneath. That aside, the quality is really solid and the pink color is gorgeous in natural light.
First to a daytime baby shower in the yellow, then styled it differently for a birthday dinner. Both times I felt completely appropriate for the occasion. The bodice keeps everything in place and the flounce hem makes the whole look feel special without trying too hard.
If spring had a dress, this would be it.
The yellow is such a cheerful, sunny color and the dress photographs really well. It does require gentle washing to keep the color from fading, which is a little extra effort. Not a dealbreaker at all, just something to keep in mind if you tend to throw everything in the machine.
