The indigo colorway on both pieces matches so well, which is harder to find than you'd think with denim sets. The contrast stitching gives it that extra pop of detail. Only thing I'd say is the jacket runs pretty big even for an oversized fit, so size down if you want the belt to do much work.
Paired this with white sneakers and a fitted tee and felt like I was actually put together for once. The dropped shoulders on the jacket give it that cool relaxed shape without looking sloppy. I've already worn it three weekends in a row.
This denim is thick and sturdy, holds its shape all day.
The rich indigo color photographs beautifully and looks even better in person. I was worried the two pieces might be slightly different shades like some sets do, but they match perfectly. Wore it out to dinner with heels and felt overdressed in the best possible way.
The wide-leg pants have a really clean straight fit that I wasn't sure would work on my body type, but the high waist makes them super flattering. The jacket with the belt is a great combination. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is the belt loops feel a little flimsy compared to the rest of the construction.
